Event Project Manager
I graduated from the University of California, Santa Cruz with a degree in Information System Management. That led to my first IT job as a System Admin for a locally based manufacturing company. I enjoyed the work but wanted something with a little less routine and with a little more diversity. A move to Seattle, WA, provided me with that opportunity.
I accepted a Tech position, providing set-up and support work for Microsoft trade shows. The congruence of mixing my technical foundation, strong client interaction skills plus being able to travel provided me with the job harmony I needed. One of my favorite memories was a show in Singapore where I was able to use my technical skills and was also able to converse with the client in their native dialect (Chinese).
As time went on, I began to specialize; working primarily with high-profile clients doing Exec Tier Events. That experience has helped me transition to more of a Project Management role – something that I look forward to learning and growing with now that I am part of the F1 family.
About me: My passions include – working, traveling with my husband and exploring new places, playing StarCraft II, reading manga, watching anime, riding my motorcycle, and finding amazing food to eat wherever I am.
