This is my first experience of working for another company in the US, I am here with Andrew, Luke and Wesley working for EPI.
We arrived last Tuesday and have helped Chris and his crew setup the network and Commnet machines for the event. As this is not my event it makes a refreshing change to be involved but without the pressure. I am enjoying being told what to do!
Many things are similar to how its carried out in Europe but the one big difference I have seen is the crew catering! We are used to set dinners at set times with very little option. Here you get that but there is always something being freshly prepared for you whether it is omelettes for breakfast, burgers and hot dogs at lunch or pizza for tea. Add this to the chocolate bars, soda and cakes available all day and a visit to the gym is definitely in order so that you do not pile on the pounds!
Monday was our first day of the show, will keep you posted...
